ANGELINA'S BIO

Being passionate and detail-oriented, I enjoy approaching complex projects with determination while keeping the goal at large. A big part of my success while working with others stems from my ability to cultivate an intuitive understanding of their needs, and tackle the project from there.

I have the pleasure of working as the Mechanical Test Lab Resonsible at Novelis' Global Research & Technology Center in Kennesaw, Georgia. Novelis is one of the world leaders in aluminum recycling and rolling and a leading sustainable aluminum solutions provider. Driven by our purpose of “shaping a sustainable world together,” we work alongside our customers to provide innovative solutions to the aerospace, automotive, beverage packaging and specialty markets. Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, Novelis has approximately 13,000 employees in 32 operating facilities on 4 continents.

Originally from Youngstown, Ohio. I am a first-generation with a very big Italian family! Spending time with family, friends, and my cat, Luna, is very important to me. I also enjoy trail and distance running (or anything outdoors really), painting and sculpting, cooking or baking, and volunteering in my free time. I have continued my passion for music as a clarinetist volunteering with the Atlanta Concert Band. I have volunteered at various places around Youngstown, my favorite being Angels for Animals rescue shelter and chose to continue my passion for helping animals by volunteering for the Cherokee County Humane Society.

I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Engineering from the Ohio State University. The degree program focused primarily on biological sciences in conjunction with chemical, mechanical, industrial, and electrical engineering curriculum. Along with required coursework, I immersed myself in as many design projects possible, as I enjoy and am skilled in doing CAD design and prototyping which I continue to do in my current role at work. As an engineer, I am passionate about design and optimization to find helpful solutions to minimizing waste, optimizing production, and being as efficient as possible for the benefit of people, animals, and/or the environment.

Take a look at the work I have done in the past and am working on presently that has grown me to be the engineer I am today. For more information on my qualifications, please see my résumé or feel free to contact me.
